Welcome to Baby Leo’s Newborn Session!
I have been photographing this family for several years, starting with the parents engagement photos!
I have had the pleasure of photographing each of their boys as newborns, it has been such an honor!
This particular newborn session was a little bittersweet, as their beloved dog was heading to cross the rainbow bridge the next day. Mom and dad wanted all of their kiddos in the family images, and we did it!

This session was done at the beautiful dike in Washougal, WA. It was a bit blustery, but we got all the images done in record time!
Two sets of Grandparents and an Aunt and Uncle came in for this extended session!

Welcome to Rachel’s maternity session!
This gorgeous creature is a dear friend of mine.
She was my youngest son’s elementary school teacher for two years, and I had the honor of serving her as Room Mom for both years.
There were lots of long talks over coffee about our curly hair, our food restrictions, class projects and more!
I had the pleasure of photographing one of her twin sisters beach wedding a few years ago as well. Rachel is so special to me.
We decided on Lacamas Round Lake Park, a location I often shoot at.
Rachel’s maternity session was so simple and elegant. She has such a classic and timeless look! She reminds me of a character straight out of a Jane Austen book!

Her mama is a pretty special little lady to me. I photographed her years ago as a child, and her she is now all grown up with a child of her own! It’s always so humbling to me when people choose me for their newborn photos. But when children I have nannied or photographed before bring me their new babies to photograph, it’s just such a different experience.

Welcome to baby Athena’s newborn photos!
Mom was pretty excited to have her first girl after two boys! These boys were the cutest with their baby sister! They just loved her so much.
Mom and dad came to their session prepared with props they wanted baby Athena photographed with. Her animal is an owl, and so they brought owl props, and of course a Grecian crown for the goddess she is.
Mom wanted the dark wood backdrop for the family photos! I love how they were in the darker clothing, and the kids popped with the whites and purple!
Big brothers so proud to have their photo taken with sister!
Mom really wanted the plummy purple for Athena’s images, I just love how she looks like royalty.
